12. Keep Your Leather Interiors Clean
If you want to keep your leather car seats in good condition, you might be convinced to purchase some extremely expensive products. Leather is a delicate material that can easily get destroyed over time, but today there are many people who recommend the use of olive oil to achieve the same results.
After washing the leather seats with hot soapy water, apply a small amount of olive oil to prevent them from drying out and cracking. If there are already cracks, you can apply a greater amount of oil and leave it in to hydrate the leather for three-quarters of an hour. It won’t solve the problem entirely, but it will make the worst of cracks look less deep.
