5. Headlights + Toothpaste

The car’s headlights are exposed to the great outdoors every day: from the weather changes to the stones, bugs, rain, hail, and more. Over time, this exposure gradually yellows the headlights, making the light dimmer as time goes by. This can be a pretty serious problem, but it can be solved in less than 30 minutes with a cloth, water, soap, and whitening toothpaste.

First, give your headlights a good scrub with some soap and water to get them clean. Next, apply a thin layer of whitening toothpaste and let it dry for a few minutes. Once it’s dry, use a slightly damp cloth to polish them in a circular motion, spreading the toothpaste. In just a few minutes, you’ll start to see a difference!
