6. How Cats Show Frustration
When you see your cat staring out the window and making a chattering noise, it’s probably because they’re eyeing up a bird.
Experts believe that the cat has a different sound for a variety of frustrations, one of which is when they can see a bird but can’t catch it. The bird knows the cat is there and around the corner, but the window is preventing them from catching it. Other specialists, however, consider that this is a real instinct and that the chattering warms up the muscles of the cat before they pursue their prey.
