14. Playing Tricks
Dogs are very smart animals – but that doesn’t always work to their owner’s advantage. They’re intelligent enough to understand cause and effect, as well as the consequences of their actions. This can be troublesome for both dogs and their owners. Dogs can sometimes trick each other – as well as their owners – into doing things they want them to do.
For example, a dog might try to trick its human into thinking it hasn’t eaten yet, in order to get more food. Or, when he does something wrong, he might try to pin the blame on someone else.
