17. Eating Grass
One of the leading misconceptions about pet dogs is that they will eat anything. While it is inevitable that your dog might try to eat things on the ground if they see them, they don’t tend to eat grass as often as people think. But when they do, it has nothing to do with them being hungry.
Uh-oh. Your dog ate some grass. Is this a health cause for concern? Not at all. Eating grass is not a necessity for your dog, but it does have some good side effects. Some dogs might eat grass to get rid of an upset stomach or because they are thirsty. Dogs do not need to eat grass, but it is thought that they can help with digestion.
